Will you make any changes to our DNS records?

When we are moving over your DNS settings to Cloudflare to your specified account, we will not make any changes to your DNS records.

Cloudflare will retrieve whatever DNS records that it can when it copies over the DNS records.

The only setting we will change is to change the two A records for your "@" and "www" DNS records from orange cloud (by default Cloudflare selects the orange cloud) to grey cloud (DNS only).

Unless indicated, we will not change it back to orange cloud unless we have to issue a Cloudflare SSL for some reason the the Let's Encrypt SSLs on our platform does not work for your domain.
