How to migrate and then add a website to the platform - Part 3 of 3

Complete steps mention in Part 1, and Part 2, before proceeding to steps mentioned in Part 3 below:

Steps:

Note: While on the new website
- Ensure that WordPress has been setup, and then installed by you.
- Then ensure that the domain of the website is now pointed to the correct IP address that is available in the platform.
- SSL certificate should have been enabled before installing WordPress.
- Then you can follow the steps here (recommended). Scroll down to 3. Import Using All-in-One WP Migration. You will need the Unlimited extension when using Import from File.

If you are unable to follow the steps above, please do the following:

1. Install the All-in-one migration plugin. Activate it.

2. Install the Unlimited extension for the All-in-one migration plugin. Activate it.

3. Login via SFTP to the website.

4. [Use this method if you are not able to do it via WordPress dashboard]
Upload the backup (.wpress) to the "al1wm-backups" folder
if you are not able to locate it, please reach out to us, we can upload it for you.

5. Back in your WordPress dashboard, go to the All-in-on migration Backups tab. The recently uploaded backup should be there.

6. Click on Restore button. The words will appear once you hover over the grey button in the same line as the backup.

7. Follow the plugins' instructions closely after.

8. Make sure that you keep the permalinks settings when the restore is done so that you do not affect your SEO.

9. You will be ask to open the website in another tab once you click on "keep the permalinks" option.

10 You will need to login again with your existing website credentials.

11. Now you can check your website, and ensure it is functioning properly.
