How to resolve 403 errors in OpenLiteSpeed?

The fastest way to resolve a 403 error and the most likely cause is files permission. Simply login to CyberPanel.

Note: You do not need to do this for all the website on your server, just the one that you are experiencing this issue.

Websites > List Websites > Find the website, and click on Manage

Scroll down, look for FIles section, and click on Files Manager

Wait for the screen to open in a new tab.

Click on Fix Permissions at the top right hand corner.

Then reboot OpenLiteSpeed via:

Whlle in CyberPanel, scroll down on the left menu bar, look for Server Status

Click on Server Status to open the dropdown menu

Click on LiteSpeed Status

Wait for the screen to load, and then click on the REBOOT LITESPEED (blue button).
