What happens if our domain expires, and it was not renewed on time?

Depending on the registrar that you use, they may suspend the account you have with them, point the expired domain to their parking domains, or both of the above.

Once the domain has been renewed, it will take 24-48 hours (in rare cases up to 72 hours) for the domain to propagate properly.

Visiting the domains in the initial 24-48 hours period after (expired) domain renewal will cause you to see multiple errors on your browser, even if you had cleared the browser cache.

We also recommend removing your website from uptime monitoring tools as you will receive multiple notifications while the propagation is taking place.

This process cannot be sped up due to the automated nature of the process.
